New York cop John McClane is back on the big screen in China.
The fifth film in the 25-year-old Die Hard series, "A Good Day to Die Hard" has premiered in Beijing and is to be in cinemas on Thursday, March 14.
Action star Bruce Willis is back as McClane, who travels to Russia to break his estranged son out of prison but gets unwittingly caught up in a terrorist plot.
The tough cop and his son, played by Jai Courtney, in a true act of father and son bonding take on the terrorists.
In a video message at the Beijing premiere, Willis told the audience that it's great to have the film screened in China.
He says that it's a true "Die Hard" film, full of exciting action scenes, big-scale explosions and car chases that will blow audiences away.
Willis' last film "Looper", starring Chinese actress Xu Qing, was a big hit at the Chinese box office.
"A Good Day to Die Hard" has grossed over 240 million U.S. dollars worldwide so far.
