1. Sino- Russian military exercises in the Gulf of Peter the Great

From July 5 to 12, Chinese People's Liberation Army participated in the China-Russia "Maritime Joint Exercise 2013" in the open waters off the Port of Vladivostok - Peter the Great Gulf. “Maritime Joint Exercise 2013" was the largest overseas military exercises for the PLA in terms of the number of troops sent abroad. Seven Chinese warships including four destroyers, two frigates and one comprehensive supply ship took part in the exercise.
