The Left Ear is a directorial debut of Alec Su, a Taiwan-born actor, pop singer, television producer, and film director. Chen Duling played the heroine Li Er in the film which will premier in China on April 24, 2015.

Chen Duling is still a university student at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Chen Duling ranks before the "Milk Tea Girl" Zhang Zetian and tops the list.
